We’re looking for a Senior PHP Developer who combines strong engineering craft with a problem-solving mindset — someone who enjoys writing clean, maintainable code, architecting integrations, and improving how things work at scale.
What you’ll do
- You’ll be a key player in driving a critical business initiative - support existing brand monitoring solution and integrating it to similarweb product
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders across both organizations to understand requirements and proactively identify potential challenges before they impact timelines
- Work directly with the existing team to understand their current architecture, becoming the bridge between legacy systems and modern SimilarWeb infrastructure
- Your decisions directly affect customer satisfaction, revenue retention, and the success of a major acquisition
- Opportunity to grow outside of your tech stack into different roles within similarweb platform teams
What you bring
- Strong PHP experience (modern versions 8.x+) with object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Framework experience in Code igniter / Laravel / Symfony, or similar front end experience - HTML/CSS/javascript
- Database proficiency - MySQL or similar
- Cloud platform experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure including deployment, scaling, and infrastructure management
- Experience monitoring and running a scalable cloud application
- Ability to work independently in larger codebase
