The SMB Team is the fastest-growing digital marketing and coaching business for attorneys nationwide, and we are looking for an GoSMB Marketing Director to join our team!
This role exists to spearhead the SMB Teamβs entry into non-legal business segments by building a high-growth marketing engine. The Director will be responsible for adapting, refining, and expanding upon the marketing playbook that has resulted in great success for SMB Team Legal.Β As a strategic leader and hands-on executor, this person will refine brand positioning, launch multi-channel lead generation campaigns, and own the full funnel from initial ad spend to lead nurturing and performance analysis.

The salary for this role is $115,000.
Responsibilities
Hands-on full-stack execution:
- Paid Media: Design, launch, and measure paid ad campaigns, optimizing for scale and efficiency, while overseeing an ad buying agency and funnel builder.
- Email and SMS: Design, executive and optimize email and SMS campaigns, while managing lists, consent, and workflows.
- Content and Social: Create and execute a content calendar that spans from website content (ex. blogs, downloads) to organic social media posts to sales assets.
- Creative Assets:. Oversee the creation of videos, static ads, collateral, and other creative assets used across marketing efforts to drive response.
- Analytics and Optimization: Track, report, and analyze results, while continuously raising the bar on performance by gaining efficiencies and lowering CAC.
- PR & Awareness: Identify and test low-cost PR and earned media opportunities to build brand credibility and grow the database
Operations and Enablement:
- Resource Management: Allocate work to VAs and agencies to maintain high output
- Sales Enablement: Partner with sales on each step of the sales funnel to drive client volume
- Multi-Channel Campaign Lifecycle Management: Oversee pilot and evergreen programs, ensuring they are operationalized for long-term sustainability.
- AI Integration: Leverage AI across all initiatives, while maintaining brand quality.
Strategy:
Market research: Research and partner closely with Sales and Client Services to create messaging that resonates with target audiences
Always be testing: Concept and execute new funnels, customer journeys, copy, etc. to maximize conversion
Creative Iteration: Partner with our creative team to continuously refresh ad copy, headlines, and visual assets based on performance data and emerging market trends.
Budget management and optimization: Manage a monthly budget to optimize outcomes and hit KPI targets
10+ years of Marketing experience, with a proven track record in a “full-stack” or “growth” role within a small-to-midsize business
Must have experience launching new products and/or entering new markets
Ability to both strategize at 30,000 feet and execute at 1 foot (doing the work yourself)
Proactive, “owner” mentality with a bias for action and experimentation
Advanced analytics and data background. Ability to turn data into insights and outcomes.
Experience managing budgets of 5-6 figures per month
Expert level proficiency in paid media, particularly paid social, and marketing funnels
Advanced expertise in CRM/Marketing automation
Excellent copywriter capable of adjusting brand voice for different audiences and channels
Experience leading teams of at least 1-2 people
Strong marketing operations and project management skills
Intermediate+ expertise in HubSpot Marketing, particularly Marketing Hub
