Sodexo was founded in Marseille by Pierre Bellon in 1966. We provide integrated services including food services, facilities management, and employee benefits. We operate in 43 countries, serving approximately 80 million consumers daily. As of August 31, 2025, we employed 426,000 individuals, making us the second-largest France-based private employer worldwide. We reported Fiscal 2025 consolidated revenues of 24.1 billion euros and a market capitalization of 8.3 billion euros as of October 22, 2025.

We specialize in corporate real estate, food services, facilities management, catering, workplace, and workplace experience. We deliver services in four main environments: workplaces, learning environments (schools and universities), healthcare and senior facilities, and sports & leisure events (cultural venues, stadiums, airports). We offer food brands such as Modern Recipe, Kitchen Works, and The Good Eating Company.

Our business model emphasizes independence and founding family shareholding. We are included in several indices, including CAC Next 20, Bloomberg France 40, CAC SBT 1.5, FTSE 4 Good, and DJSI. We have received recognition for our sustainability performance, including an EcoVadis score of ⁸²⁄₁₀₀ (ranking in the top 3% globally) and a CDP “A” rating for climate action. Recently, we expanded our partnership with Adventist Health across 15 new sites in the U.S. and extended our global partnership with Nokia for Workplace Experience and Sustainable Food Services in EMEA and China.
