Spotify is expanding our EMEA Agency development team dedicated to driving new and innovative strategic partnerships with our largest agency partners. You will showcase all the technological and data assets available to drive business goals for our largest podcast agency partners and their clients on our platform.

We are looking for an Agency Development Manager to grow our Enterprise business with agency development experience including but not limited to agency and/or client experience, account management and sales. In addition, other experience includes partnership development, deal negotiation, agency relationships, as well as a deep interest and passion for digital media, music, podcasts and innovation. You are an autonomous sales person with an established track record of building, trusted relationships and a reputation for being solutions orientated when working with agencies. Agencies love partnering with you on briefs and involving you in annual plans to enable growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the liaison across an agency portfolio, internal advocate and represent Spotify with a specific focus on key holdco and/or operating company relationships, with the local Sales teams.
  • Identify agency areas of focus that align with Spotify solutions to drive immediate revenue, media innovation audio and video engagement
  • Responsible for agency contact mapping, delivery of business reviews and scaled education programmes.
  • Work cohesively with other locally based Agency Development Managers to execute the agency go to market strategy.
  • Partner closely with key vertical and automation teams to ensure strategic and commercial elements are driving towards our prioritized business goals.
  • Ensure dissemination of information to the appropriate Spotify teams as well as fast premium service response
  • Drive revenue across your agency portfolio. Proactively identify opportunities for client partners to collaborate.
  • Lead integration into country vertical structure, in particular with Client Partners and uncover the next generation of Enterprise customers.

Who You Are

  • 6+ years of Agency, Business Development/Partnerships, and/or Sales experience leading businesses or accounts
  • Successful experience working in or with media & creative agencies
  • Personal network in place with agency contacts.
  • Proven track record of successfully growing in quarter revenue through the development of strategic relationships
  • Strong understanding of Spotify user behaviour, product and targeting suite & the ability to translate technical or complicated ideas into ordinary and simple terms
  • Experience in working for matrix organizations & ability to win the support and drive deliverable timelines from key internal cross-functional stakeholders
  • Passion for developing high-impact presentations and leading scaled initiatives
  • Delivery of assigned agency partners’ company quarterly and annual business reviews
  • Strong experience and understanding of the local agency market dynamics
  • Proven success in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Fluent English & Italian language, spoken and written is required

Where You’ll Be

  • This role will be based in the Milan office and will report to the Southern Europe Agency Development Lead.
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in at least three times per week.
