The Customer Service Platform (CSP) organization builds the tools and infrastructure that power Spotify’s customer support operations. Within CSP, the Rock Solid team focuses on reliable, scalable data systems that enable advisors to support hundreds of thousands of users every day.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain data pipelines that power analytics, reporting, and machine learning systems
- Work with BigQuery and GCP to process large-scale datasets
- Develop batch and real-time data processing using tools like Dataflow and Pub/Sub
- Implement monitoring and data quality checks to ensure reliability
- Design data models for downstream consumers across analytics and product teams
- Contribute to backend services using Java
- Troubleshoot issues and support system reliability
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product partners
Who You Are
- You have experience in data engineering or backend development
- You are comfortable with SQL and working with large datasets
- You have experience with cloud platforms, ideally GCP
- You are interested in backend development, particularly Java
- You understand batch and streaming data concepts
- You write maintainable, well-tested code
- You are curious and eager to learn
- You communicate clearly and work well in teams
Where You’ll Be
- This role is based in London or Stockholm
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
