What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support a team of two producers, guiding day-to-day execution across multiple audiobook productions
  • Oversee end-to-end production, from pre-production, casting, recording, quality control, and delivery

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment on creative vision and production goals
  • Act as the primary production partner to Publishing, aligning output with partner commitments and content priorities
  • Work closely with Partner Relations and Content Strategy to translate business needs into strong production plans
  • Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships, ensuring smooth delivery from scoping through wrap
  • Lead casting decisions and direct recording sessions, ensuring each title meets a high creative standard
  • Build and maintain relationships with narrators and production partners to support a diverse and scalable talent network
  • Help improve and standardize production workflows to support a growing catalog of audiobook content

Who You Are

  • You have 5+ years of experience in production, including time leading projects or teams in a media, publishing, or creative environment
  • You are experienced in managing multiple productions at once and keeping teams aligned in fast-moving environments
  • You have a strong understanding of the full audiobook production lifecycle, from planning through final delivery
  • You are comfortable working across teams and can translate business or editorial goals into clear production plans
  • You experience building and maintaining senior client relationships, instilling confidence and trust in Spotify’s production capabilities.
  • You have experience working with external vendors, including defining scope, timelines, and budgets
  • You communicate clearly and build strong relationships with both creative and business partners
  • You stay organized and adaptable when priorities shift, and you’re comfortable making decisions in ambiguity
  • You care about creating inclusive, high-quality content and supporting a collaborative team environment

Where You Will Be

  • This role is based in New York, NY
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
