We founded Stack Builders in 2009 to provide custom software development. We build reliable, secure software using functional and type-safe programming. We partner with companies in many industries to create custom solutions, applying Agile methodologies and best practices.

Our technologies include Ruby on Rails, Haskell, JavaScript, Ruby, Ansible, PureScript, TypeScript, Swift, Elm, Clojure, and Python. We modernize legacy systems into cloud-native solutions, develop AI-enabled automated cybersecurity and insurance SaaS platforms, build AI-driven autonomous cybersecurity platforms, and design and optimize secure, scalable infrastructure for clients.

We aim to deliver custom software solutions that meet our clients’ needs, with an emphasis on quality and practical approaches. We are an international software consultancy with a global, diverse team of 51 to 200 employees. We focus on learning and development, offering 1:1 sessions, regular pair programming with senior developers, and Agile training. Our teams often have high ownership, working on challenging, full-time, long-term projects. We support both fully remote and hybrid work, though some roles in Quito, Ecuador, require a hybrid schedule.
