Position Overview
The Distribution & Sales Enablement Analyst serves as a strategic partner to the Private Wealth team and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing conferences, events, and broader distribution and marketing initiatives that support advisor engagement and other business goals.
This role owns key elements of strategy, execution and processes—anticipating needs and ensuring that distribution efforts are delivered with consistency, quality, and strategic intent. The Analyst brings structure and forward planning, enabling sales teams to focus on relationship‑building and growth.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead key initiatives and strategic priorities that support Private Wealth’s distribution objectives, sales and engagement priorities, and marketing initiatives
- Own the external conference and event strategy and related execution for Private Wealth, including calendar planning and cross‑functional coordination.
- Serve as a strategic partner to Sales leadership to ensure conference participation and events are aligned with distribution objectives, target audiences, and coverage priorities.
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure strategic alignment of messaging, collateral, and event materials with broader brand and distribution strategies.
- Lead end‑to‑end management of conferences, including timelines, deliverables, and communication.
- Oversee event platforms, portals, registrations, attendee data, exhibitor requirements, vendors, and lead‑capture processes, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Oversee logistics such as booth strategy, signage, shipping, and branded materials with an emphasis on consistency, quality, and efficiency.
- Support speaker engagement and program coordination
- Direct StepStone‑hosted and co‑hosted distribution events, including advisor dinners, and small‑group engagements.
- Participate in internal sales meetings and due diligence sessions by directing sales enablement frameworks, including materials, logistics, strategy, and timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact with conference organizers, venues, and third‑party vendors, managing relationships, selecting vendors, negotiating contract terms, and resolving issues independently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2–5+ years of experience in sales enablement, distribution support, marketing operations, events, or sponsorship management; experience in asset management or financial services preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives from planning through execution.
- Strong organizational, analytical and project management skills, with comfort navigating event platforms, CRMs, spreadsheets, and project‑tracking tools.
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and communicate effectively.
- Detail‑oriented, solutions‑focused, and comfortable exercising judgment in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel for key distribution events.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Salary Range: $64,900 - $77,800
The salary range is an estimate of pay for this position. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related factors that can include location, education, skill, and experience. The salary range does not include any benefits or other forms of possible compensation that may be available to employees.
