Senior Sourcer – Supporting Ford Racing – Remote
Ford is building the workforce behind Ford Racing, supporting high-performance, motorsport, and aftermarket automotive programs that require highly specialized talent. We’re hiring a Senior Sourcer to partner closely with Ford Racing and Sustainable Talent’s recruiting team, driving end-to-end early-stage talent strategy, candidate screening, and stakeholder collaboration while working remotely.
This is a senior, impact-focused role for someone who loves digging into niche talent markets, advocating for strong candidates, and collaborating with recruiters and hiring leaders to solve complex search challenges. You’ll do more than generate leads — you’ll shape search strategy, assess candidates, and help stakeholders make confident decisions.
About the Role
You’ll own sourcing and early-stage evaluation for Ford Racing roles, building targeted pipelines, screening candidates, and advocating for top talent. You’ll also participate in recruiter and stakeholder calls to share market insights, review pipelines, and recommend creative approaches when searches get challenging.
The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator and critical thinker who can dig deep into motorsport/performance talent pools, quickly assess fit, and clearly communicate recommendations to recruiters and hiring leaders.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute sourcing strategies across multiple channels (online platforms, communities, events, referrals) to identify top talent for Ford Racing roles.
Conduct initial candidate screens, review resumes and profiles, and provide clear, concise assessments of candidate fit, interest, and readiness.
Advocate for strong candidates and avoid wasting stakeholder time by presenting only well-qualified, thoughtfully evaluated talent.
Join recruiter and stakeholder calls to discuss search progress, pipeline quality, and market feedback, and to refine role requirements or search focus as needed.
Identify where searches are getting stuck, surface search challenges early, and propose out-of-the-box sourcing approaches and new talent channels.
Maintain organized candidate pipelines, trackers, and documentation in the applicant tracking system and Sustainable Talent tools, ensuring visibility into top-of-funnel and screened candidates.
Partner closely with the Senior Recruiter to align sourcing priorities, calibrate profiles, and ensure smooth handoffs into the interview process.
What We Need to See
5+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience with a strong focus on talent identification, engagement, and early-stage assessment.
Demonstrated ability to build and manage pipelines in niche or competitive markets and present clear, thoughtful candidate recommendations.
Strong collaboration skills, with comfort joining calls with recruiters and stakeholders to discuss strategy, challenges, and next steps.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills in managing trackers, documentation, and updates.
Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously while working remotely across time zones.
Bonus Points
Motorsport expertise or experience in performance, motorsports, or the aftermarket automotive industry.
Experience sourcing for engineering, technical, or specialized roles within automotive, industrial, or related fields.
Familiarity with enterprise applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools.
Track record of creative sourcing approaches, including community engagement, niche platforms, and targeted outreach campaigns.

Location: Remote, supporting Ford Racing teams based in Concord, NC and Allen Park, MI.
