We are looking for an experienced IT System Administrator (3rd Level / Cloud Infrastructure) to strengthen our team in Taufkirchen near Munich.

Your responsibilities
- Acting as a technical escalation point in 3rd-level support.
- Designing secure cloud and hybrid infrastructure architectures.
- Developing customer-specific infrastructure and security concepts.
- Implementing cloud and infrastructure projects.
- Implementing Zero Trust and identity protection strategies.
- Securing hybrid IT environments according to modern security standards.
- Collaborating closely with the 2nd-level support team.
- Performing root cause analysis for complex incidents.
- Contributing to the development of our cloud and security portfolio.
- Working on multiple customer projects in parallel.
What you bring
- Degree or training in IT (e.g., System Integration) or comparable qualifications.
- 6–7+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an IT service provider environment.
- Experience working in 3rd-level support in complex customer environments.
- Experience designing and implementing cloud and infrastructure projects.
- Experience with security concepts in hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Cloud technologies, including Azure (IaaS, hybrid architectures), Intune, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Microsoft Defender, DLP, Zero Trust concepts and Microsoft Virtual Desktop.
- Solid background in Microsoft infrastructure environments, including Windows Server, Hyper-V, Failover Clustering, Exchange Server, SQL Server and terminal server environments.
- Good knowledge of networking and security technologies, including firewall platforms (Fortigate, Meraki), VPN, network segmentation, routing and switching.
- Experience with infrastructure and operations tools, such as VEEAM (including immutable backups), Mailstore, NoSpam Proxy, Proxmox, Postgres, NinjaOne RMM, Linux and HAProxy.
- High level of customer orientation and sense of responsibility.
- Languages: German: C1/C2; English: B2.
