About the Role
The Procurement Intern will support the Procurement and Supply Chain team in executing day-to-day activities and key initiatives that enable efficient, compliant, and cost-effective operations. This role provides hands-on exposure to procurement, supplier management, and supply chain processes within a growing biopharmaceutical organization.
The intern will work cross-functionally with teams such as Finance, Legal, R&D, Clinical, and Commercial, gaining practical experience and insight into how procurement and supply chain functions support the broader business.
Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Support procurement and strategic sourcing activities through data collection, supplier comparisons, and analysis
- Assist with spend analysis, reporting, and dashboard preparation
- Help organize supplier documentation, contracts, and compliance materials
- Support supplier onboarding and performance tracking efforts
- Assist with supply chain planning, inventory, or operational analyses as needed
- Prepare presentations and summaries for internal stakeholders and leadership
- Participate in process improvement initiatives within procurement
Factors for Success:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong interest in procurement, strategic sourcing, and/or supply chain management
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with ERP or procurement systems is a plus

The expected hourly pay for this position is $26/hour for an undergraduate student and $45/hr for a graduate student.
