Job description

Job Title: Account Executive (AE)

Company: CRS Group Inc.

Location: CRS Group Inc. is able to offer remote employment of this position within the United States

Job Type: Full-Time

About Us:

We are a remote-friendly, entrepreneurial, energetic team on a mission to empower an equitable economy with better access to regulated data and modern technology. We are a Credit Reporting Agency (CRA) and trusted partner of credit bureaus and regulated data providers with an all-in-one technology platform for credit and compliance. As a company built on 25 years of credit industry expertise and merged with modern technology, we are a force of positive change in the longstanding credit industry – and for all those who rely on it.

Headquartered in Northern California with satellite offices in NYC, CRS Group Inc. is a certified CRA for Equifax®, Experian®, and TransUnion®. Founded in 2019, CRS is a subsidiary of Credit Reporting Services, Inc., an established CRA trusted by the credit industry since 2006.

Job Description:

CRS is looking for a high-initiative Account Executive who blends complex solution selling with credible industry depth. You’ll own a quota and full-cycle deals while acting as a thoughtful partner to senior buyers (CROs, CCOs, CPOs, Heads of Risk/Credit). You’ll be comfortable getting technical enough to carry the conversation—probing data flows, integration paths, and product fit—before looping in Product/Engineering when needed.

This role goes beyond transactional inbound: we need a hunter who can create and shape seven-figure opportunities, especially with tier-one logos and within priority verticals like Debt Consolidation, Card Issuing/Consumer Banking, Lead/Trigger Marketing, and PropTech (MCA familiarity is a plus). You’ll thrive at conferences and private events, know who to meet (and why), and keep the pace high from first contact through close.

Success looks like consistently closing $250K–$750K ARR opportunities while developing and landing $1M+ ARR deals, expanding our footprint with marquee customers, and elevating CRS’s presence across the ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle: discovery, solution design, business case, negotiation, close, and structured handoff to post-sale teams

  • Solution sell across data products and APIs—map customer workflows, propose integration patterns, and translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes

  • Consistently build and advance pipeline beyond inbound; run targeted outbound into named accounts and priority verticals

  • Engage executive stakeholders; lead multi-threaded pursuits that align Risk/Credit, Product, Engineering, and Operations on the customer side

  • Represent CRS at conferences and field events; curate meetings, host dinners, and convert high-value conversations into qualified pursuits

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and CSM to shape deals that are implementable, scalable, and value-centric

  • Forecast accurately in CRM; maintain crisp deal hygiene, MEDDICC-style qualification, and stage progression discipline

  • Contribute vertical POVs (deal archetypes, playbooks, reference architectures) that help the broader team sell bigger, faster

  • Model urgency and pace—proactively remove roadblocks, drive next steps, and keep stakeholders aligned to timelines

Qualifications:

  • 7–12+ years in complex B2B sales (fintech, data platforms, APIs, risk/credit/KYC/KYB/IDV, or adjacent regulated-data domains)

  • Proven track record closing $250K–$750K ARR deals and contributing to $1M+ ARR wins at brand-name or at-scale customers

  • Credible industry Rolodex and presence in one or more of: Debt Consolidation, Card Issuing/Consumer Banking (e.g., sponsor banks), Lead/Trigger Marketing, PropTech; MCA domain familiarity is a plus

  • Comfortable discussing APIs, data schemas (JSON), and integration workflows at a functional level; able to lead technical discovery before SE/Product involvement

  • Executive communication chops and consultative EQ—able to “work the room,” ask incisive questions, and co-engineer solutions with senior buyers

  • True hunter mentality in an inbound-heavy environment; proven outbound prospecting and conference strategy that generates net-new pipeline

  • Startup/scale-up DNA: high ownership, bias to action, and comfort with ambiguity

  • Willingness to travel for conferences, customer meetings, and events (approximately 25–35%)

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience selling to or through channels/strategic partners (sponsor banks, issuers, core platforms, ISVs)

  • Background within modern CRAs/fintechs or data providers; depth across consumer/business credit, KYC/KYB, IDV, fraud signals

  • Playbook contributions: qualification frameworks (e.g., MEDDICC), exec-ready business casing, and referenceable wins with tier-one logos

Why Join Us:

  • Play a key role on a high impact team facing mission critical challenges.

  • Be a part of a dynamic and innovative team that is shaping the future of the credit industry.

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.

  • Opportunity for career growth and professional development.

  • Collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Benefits:

  • CRS Group Inc. is proud to offer a variety of benefits to support employees and their families, including:

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Medical Insurance

  • Dental insurance

  • Vision Insurance

  • Unlimited Paid Leave Policy
