Job Description

As a key member of the Technical Support Team at Third Bridge, your role will be multifaceted, focusing on providing comprehensive support for a diverse range of applications. This includes, but is not limited to, an internally developed, bespoke system that is critical to our operations.

You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless functionality of our business by collaborating closely with various team members and departments. Your responsibilities will involve diagnosing and resolving technical issues, implementing proactive maintenance strategies, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our application ecosystem. Your expertise will be vital in minimizing downtime, optimizing system performance, and ultimately empowering our business to operate efficiently and without disruption.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing & troubleshooting user issues

  • Responding to & resolving issues, or escalating as necessary

  • Ensure key users are appropriately updated on changes or issues

  • Provide excellent customer service

  • Install, upgrade & support device OS & any other authorised applications

  • Create, manage & maintain device build images

  • Produce documentation and “how to” guides

  • Adhere to all IT security policies & assistance in enforcing & monitoring of IT security policies

  • Ensure PC asset management processes are followed

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills in English

  • Analytical & Attention to detail

  • Strong work ethic

  • 1st line Application Support experience is desirable

  • Familiarity with IOS / Android phones

  • Familiarity with email, calendar & instant messaging applications

  • Familiarity with ITIL foundations and concepts

  • Knowledge of IP / cloud telephone systems

  • Knowledge of HTML, SQL, XML

  • See and communicate with business stakeholders as partners with a common goal

  • Thrive in a fast-changing environment and be dedicated to continuous improvement

  • Knowledge of Relational Database

  • Knowledge of Python is desirable

  • Exposure to Cloud solutions (G Suite, Apple, Microsoft)

  • Server Exposure, AD, VMware, File/Print servers
