Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, the Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Business Partnering team with pulling together detailed monthly cost reporting across all regions and departments. The role holder is expected to work and interact closely with the Finance Operations team and Financial Systems teams.
Responsibilities
Monthly reporting:
Maintain month end reporting packs with transactional detail across all departments, regions and GL codes
Maintain a strong relationship with Finance operations and ensuring costs are booked to the correct place
Work with accounting teams to ensure accuracy of the month end results - calculating accruals for Opex and Capex
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Work closely with Finance Business Partner and Senior Finance Business Partner on creating and populating budget and forecast templates with detailed historical cost data
Assist with the input and upload of budgets and forecasts into NSPB
Procurement tracking
Support the procurement team by maintaining a groupwide log of all 3rd party spend
Support the procurement team through application of historical data to support the procurement process
Other Responsibilities
Provide PO raisers with assistance on where to allocate spend (department, GL code)
Generate analytical insights from spend and vendor data to identify trends.
Ensuring all new vendors are mapped to the correct codes in NetSuite and to ensure Business Partner and Procurement teams have been involved in approving new vendors/spend categories
Qualifications
Self-motivated person who is willing to get involved and work as a valued member of the finance team
Experience working with finance and procurement professionals
Part Qualified Accountant preferred
Desire to be part of a growing business and work hard to achieve the company’s growth plans
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
Able to work to tight deadlines as well as under pressure
Strong communication skills
Comfortable in a non-hierarchical environment and a genuine team player
Experienced and diligent worker with a good eye for detail and enquiring mind
Strong systems competence, previous experience with NetSuite is desirable
Strong Excel skills
