Job description

Truehold—one of the nation’s top players in the real estate investment space, with 200+ employees across 15+ markets—is expanding their mortgage lending operations with the growth of Truehold Financial. This role offers a competitive base salary plus commission. Since this is a newer business line within the organization, we are looking for someone entrepreneurial, start-up oriented, and eager to sell and contribute to broader lending operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and convert inbound leads for real estate investor (DSCR, Fix-and-Flip, RTL, etc.) and consumer-purpose mortgage products
  • Qualify borrowers, collect documentation, structure scenarios, and submit clean files to ops to deliver a smooth, professional end-to-end borrower experience
  • Diagnose investor needs, structure scenarios, and guide borrowers to the best loan options
  • Manage a fast-moving pipeline with strong follow-up and speed-to-lead and consistent meeting of monthly production goals
  • Collaborate with processing, underwriting, and partners to move loans from application to funding efficiently
  • Maintain full compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
  • Provide actionable feedback to improve workflows, turn times, and borrower experience
  • Contribute to building Truehold Financial’s best-in-class lending programs

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer/Originator

  • Proven track record converting inbound leads and originating mortgage loans

    • Real estate investor loans preferred, consumer mortgages a plus
  • Proficiency working with a CRM, LOS and pricing engines

  • Knowledge of underwriting standards and loan structuring best practices.

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

  • Highly motivated, organized self-starter with the ability to work independently and hit goals in a dynamic setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active NMLS license preferred (required only for consumer-purpose loans.
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced lending environment
  • Familiarity with capital markets dynamics, pricing models, and investor product variants
  • Experience representing a lender at investor events or industry groups
