Turner Staffing Group is seeking a Part-Time Recruiter to support ongoing hiring efforts across our client base. This is a remote position with occasional travel in the Elko, NV area for hiring events, site visits, and in-person candidate engagement.
This role works directly with company leadership and offers a clear path to full-time employment based on performance and business demand. It’s ideal for someone looking to grow within a specialized, relationship-driven recruiting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Source, screen, and qualify candidates for open roles across multiple clients
Manage job postings and maintain organized candidate pipelines
Conduct phone and virtual interviews
Coordinate interviews and hiring processes with clients
Support local recruiting efforts in the Elko area (site visits, networking)
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified talent for ongoing workforce needs
Assist with additional projects and operational support as needed in a growing business
Qualifications
Prior experience in the mining industry strongly preferred (operations, HR, safety, or recruiting)
Recruiting, staffing, or customer-facing experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment
Must be located near Elko, NV or able to travel locally as needed
