What will you be bringing to the team?
- Participate in release management by scheduling, managing, and coordinating releases for one or multiple applications
- Manage and mitigate risks, resolve issues related to release quality and timelines, and continuously improve the release process
- Be accountable for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices and enforce Agile/DevOps methodologies
- Manage, coordinate, and support the software development team, providing effective leadership and fostering skill development
- Guide project activities and ensure the quality of all deliverables
- Manage the product and iteration backlog
- Establish and maintain project and development plans, including project and quality plans
- Estimate costs, timelines, and resource requirements, and track progress against agreed plans
- Prepare regular, accurate status reports and manage issue and risk reporting
- Manage change control procedures and obtain sponsor approval for project revisions
- Oversee the implementation of information systems to meet business needs within agreed cost, time, and quality constraints
- Define project strategies, tasks, deliverables, quality control measures, and risk management approaches
- Participate in functional working groups and project progress meetings
- Work closely with the client’s Project/Product Manager(s) and business stakeholders to ensure alignment, coordination, and delivery of expected results
- Ensure proper prioritization and alignment when the team works across multiple projects
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- University degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in IT or a non-university degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Project management of IT software development and maintenance projects, software product lifecycle management
- Hands-on experience with stakeholder management
- Proven knowledge and experience of project management standards and methodologies, especially Agile/DevOps
- Experience with Agile Project Management tools/DevOps platform (e.g., Azure DevOps)
- Good knowledge of and a valid certification in at least one Agile Project Management methodology (e.g., DevOps, Scrum, Agile Practitioner)
- Technical understanding and practical knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Good technical knowledge of the project aspects
- Practical knowledge of reporting methods
- Proven experience in leading and facilitating meetings
- Strong presentation and public-speaking skills
- Ability to apply high-quality standards to all tasks
- Capability of working in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability, and experience in working in a team, understanding the needs, objectives, and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions.
- Leadership capability
- Proven experience with quality procedures
- Εxcellent use of the English language (verbal & written)
