What will you be bringing to the team?
- Plan and monitor project execution
- Monitor costs, timescales, and resources used, and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances
- Ensure that delivered systems are implemented within these criteria
- Define project tasks and deliverables, review deliverables, and monitor risks
- Lead and guide teams, daily project stand-up meetings, weekly follow-up meetings, and project reporting
- Be in charge of the project roadmap and detailed planning, with clear resource estimation, milestones, and deliverables
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- University degree
- At least 6 years of work experience as a Project Manager working on large-scale projects, preferably delivering large-scale complex Financial IT solutions, specifically Master Data Management, Reporting Data Collection platform, and Data platform
- Ideally, domain knowledge in Financial Institutions
- Professional experience in managing IT Projects, delivering internally built IT Solutions, and IT Projects delivering Vendor-based off-the-shelf solutions
- Hands-on experience in Budgeting, Procurement/Sourcing for IT projects
- Ability to influence up, down, and with peers
- Strong leadership and management skills, excellent written and verbal communication, strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills
- Proven experience in managing stakeholders at various levels, including senior management/director level
- Proven record of successfully managing and delivering enterprise projects
- Expert knowledge and experience in project management standards/ methodologies/tools, particularly on Agile delivery
- Ability to drive and lead projects and high-level technical meetings
- Certification in EC PM² Methodology and/or PM² Agile would be a plus
- Experience in setting up and running a PMO Office, ideally in an European Union organization, would be an advantage
- Εxcellent use of the English language (verbal & written)
