unybrands acquires e-commerce businesses that sell both on and off Amazon. Once acquired, these brands are integrated into unybrands’ platform, where operations are optimized, business performance is enhanced, and expansion into new product lines and markets is driven. Currently we have acquired 30 brands including Pet Care, Personal Care, Home Care, Supplements, Baby & Juvenile, Garden & Outdoor, Sports & Fitness, and Home, Lifestyle Culinary & Arts. We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team and support our compliance efforts across multiple regions, including the U.S., Canada, U.K., and Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about regulatory compliance with a special focus on e-commerce platforms like Amazon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with U.S., Canadian, U.K., and European regulations for dietary supplements and health products.
- Review and manage product labels, claims, and descriptions to ensure they meet regulatory standards.
- Support Amazon-specific compliance requirements, ensuring product listings meet platform regulations.
- Maintain and organize compliance documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Marketing and Product Development to integrate compliance into product design and marketing strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or Applied Nutrition.
- Some experience or internships in regulatory affairs, legal, or compliance-related roles, especially within dietary supplements or health products.
- Familiarity with e-commerce compliance, particularly on Amazon, is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly explain regulatory information.
