Uptalent.io is a premier global platform connecting exceptional talent from Latin America with innovative companies across the globe. We are currently looking for a Remote Project Architect to focus on projects in California.
Responsibilities
Experience Level:
- At least 5+ years in a project architect role.
- Demonstrated experience leading full project lifecycles for U.S.-based projects.
Core Responsibilities:
Oversee project design intent through all phases (SD–CD–CA).
Manage project documentation and ensure coordination among all consultants.
Lead technical and code compliance reviews.
Serve as the main point of contact for client and internal team coordination.
Supervise job captains and production staff; ensure quality control.
Provide construction administration support (RFIs, submittals, ASIs, etc.).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on California projects.
Proficient in architectural software, such as Revit (mandatory), Autocad and SketchUp.
Strong understanding of California building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Able to align to California office hours (PST)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present designs and concepts effectively.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a virtual team.
Fluency in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
A portfolio demonstrating your architectural work, especially California-based projects.
