We are currently seeking an experienced Remote Mechanical Engineer to support a leading U.S.-based MEP engineering firm on a high-profile semiconductor facility project. In this role, you will work remotely as part of a multidisciplinary design team, contributing to technically complex, mission-critical facility projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support mechanical system design for semiconductor and high-tech facilities including cleanrooms, manufacturing areas, labs, utility plants, and support spaces
Design and document HVAC and cleanroom systems as the primary focus area
Provide secondary support for process piping, chilled water, plumbing, and fire protection coordination
Develop construction documents and technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinate across MEP disciplines
Use Bluebeam for document review and project coordination
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and industry standards
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
7–12 years of experience in MEP mechanical design
Strong emphasis on HVAC and cleanroom system design; experience with semiconductor or similarly complex technical facilities highly preferred
Experience with process piping, chilled water, plumbing, and fire protection coordination
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam (required)
Familiarity with Navisworks, Trace, or similar software is a plus
Fluent in English (required)
