We’re a European energy company, founded in 1909. We are one of Europe’s largest producers and retailers of electricity and heat, primarily serving Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, and the UK.

Our work spans electricity generation, district heating, e-mobility charging, renewables, energy distribution and sales, and utilities. We develop technologies like wind power (including “Wind Farming” that integrates seaweed cultivation at offshore wind farms), vehicle-to-grid technology for EV battery use in grid flexibility, and large-scale battery storage.

We also focus on digitalizing and automating our market communication processes, using SAP IS-U and SAP IS-U/CRM solutions for our electricity and gas customers. Vattenfall AB, our parent company, is 100% owned by the Swedish state and headquartered in Solna, Sweden.

You’ll get 20 statutory vacation days, with options for additional days through our “My Budget My Choice” program. Other leave includes 2 extra non-statutory days, 3.5 vitality days, and ADV days (for those on 38-hour contracts).
