Who are we looking for?
- NZQA Level 3 Workplace Health & Safety qualification (or working towards it), or equivalent experience in HSE coordination, is strongly preferred
- Experience within high‑hazard industries such as utilities, construction or manufacturing is advantageous
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office
- Proactive, self‑motivated and comfortable working independently, with the ability to follow up actions and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Understanding of safety systems, permit‑to‑work processes and/or contractor management is a bonus.
Why Vector?

- Supercharge your career through internal opportunities, own your own development plan and drive your learning and growth
- Join a company embracing innovation and collaborating with leading names worldwide to develop and adopt cutting-edge technologies, like X The Moonshot Factory
- We value diverse perspectives, which drive innovation and creativity. We encourage everyone to bring their full selves to work, embracing ideas that challenge and inspire
- Build a legacy doing work that matters – we’re keeping the lights on across Auckland, and driving a sustainable energy future for New Zealand.
