Where and how we work?
We currently have teams based in Malta, Lisbon (Portugal), Sofia (Bulgaria), London (UK) and Bucharest (Romania). Our hybrid work model encourages regular in-person collaboration while also allowing flexibility to work remotely.
Long story short, you will
We’re looking for an experienced In-House Counsel (Legal & Compliance) to join our team and support the business across a range of legal and compliance matters.
In this role, you’ll work closely with teams across the company, helping ensure our commercial activities, and strategic initiatives stay aligned with legal and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Reporting to the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, you’ll act as a go-to person for practical, business-focused legal and compliance advice.

All the responsibilities we will trust you with:
Legal Advisory & Support
Provide day-to-day legal advice on commercial, corporate, operational, and regulatory matters in line with the Group’s risk appetite
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements (commercial, service, employment, software, marketing, etc.)
Support corporate governance and strategic initiatives, including preparation of internal documentation where required
Advise on key areas such as gaming regulations, data protection, AML/CFT, IP, IT, employment, and commercial law
Develop and maintain legal templates, policies, and internal documentation frameworks
Support IP protection and portfolio management, including trademark-related matters
Monitor legal and regulatory developments across jurisdictions and provide practical, business-focused guidance
Compliance Advisory & Support
Provide pragmatic, risk-based compliance advice across key regulatory areas (e.g. gaming, AML/CFT, marketing, consumer protection)
Support the development and maintenance of compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures
Assist with managing licences and certifications across multiple jurisdictions, including applications, audits, and renewals
Contribute to the Company’s risk register and broader risk management activities
Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends, advising on potential impact
Support compliance monitoring and remediation activities
Coordinate internal and external audits, including preparation and follow-up
Assist with compliance reporting and regulatory submissions
Promote compliance awareness and best practices across the business
Your areas of knowledge and expertise :
Minimum 5 years’ experience as an in-house Legal Counsel within the iGaming industry (preferably B2B) or a similarly regulated environment;
Strong knowledge of gaming, corporate, commercial, employment, IT, AML/CFT and IP laws and regulations;
Solid understanding of AML/CFT frameworks and requirements and due diligence processes for individuals and businesses;
Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory environments in regulated and regulating markets;
Proven experience in contract drafting, review and negotiation of complex commercial matters with third parties;
Experience handling claims, mediation proceedings, opposition proceedings and other regulatory and litigious actions;
Experience handling audits and exposure to licence application processes, certifications and audit processes;
Advanced level of spoken and written English;
Proficiency in Jira, Google Suite MS Office and Claude AI or similar models;
Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset;
Business-oriented, with a collaborative and structured approach to problem-solving;
Willingness to travel occasionally.
