Job Title: Art Director PTO Coverage
Location: remote
Duration: 8/12/26-9/4/26 (3.5-4 weeks)
Hours/wk: 40
Hourly Rate: $80
About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and experienced Visual Designer / Art Director – Associate with a passion for creating simple, beautiful designs across digital channels to join our Multi-Brand Creative team in the hospitality industry. You will work with a team of Rosies who make up the Creative Services department to cover for a long PTO. There will be some brief overlap before the time away and after for transition time, and if this goes well, there is potential for additional drop in coverage for the remainder of the year.
You obsess over understanding the customer and their journey, enjoy creating flawless, impactful designs, and love exploring concepts that tell the story behind our products. You pay attention to the details and won’t stop polishing your work until it shines. You’re an expert in the latest trends in modern design and advertising, with a keen eye for visual design, illustration, photography, typography, and motion graphics. You’ve worked on omni-channel designs before, understand how to balance innovation with consistency, and are comfortable with a wide range of design tools — always ready to learn new ones.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a team of creatives to deliver on briefs
- Manage multiple projects at once, from concepting through delivery across owned and 3rd-party channels
- Bring ideas to the table in response to briefings, business challenges, and feedback
- Conceptualize and execute creative solutions that communicate strategic intent across design tactics
- Create stunning visuals for both print and digital media
- Partner closely with Creative Directors to translate marketing and brand strategies into designs that render beautifully across multiple brand channels
- Partner with copywriters to concept on projects
- Build landing pages with an understanding of standard web requirements
- Work closely with Account Executives and Project Managers to meet SLAs and deadlines
- Advise business partners on creative and technical recommendations
- Participate in and lead creative meetings as needed
- Assist with presentations to business partners as needed
- Actively participate in design critiques and peer reviews as part of the larger design team
Qualifications
What You Bring
- A solid understanding of the technical and aesthetic fine points of graphic design, and the ability to distinguish between an idea and an execution
- Solid understanding of the strategy and market dynamics of assigned products
- Familiarity with the hospitality & travel industry (preferred, not required)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of design experience in an agency or corporate environment, designing across multiple devices and platforms
- Brand and hospitality experience preferred
- Proficiency on Mac OS required
- Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Sketch, and InVision
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and provide marketable solutions in conceiving, developing, and producing tactics
- Strong understanding of brand guidelines and ability to adhere to their standards
- Impeccable taste in current design trends and visual content
- Strong portfolio of work required
