World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding.
WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce.
The working hours for this role will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements.

About the Job
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and close processes, working closely with senior accounting leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with accounting standards
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and investigate variances
Maintain organized accounting documentation and financial records
Support audit preparation and compliance requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting and financial processes
Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or similar roles
Familiarity with US GAAP and experience in multi-entity, regulated, or fast-paced environments preferred
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting
Hands-on experience with reconciliations, financial statements, and close cycles (month-end / year-end)
Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues proactively
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (Sage preferred); advanced Excel skills required (formulas, pivot tables)
Background in financial services, lending, banking, fintech, public accounting, or high-growth companies is a plus
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability for work output
Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
