Requirements
We’re looking for a Senior PHP Backend Engineer to join our engineering team and play a key role in developing and supporting our client platform. You’ll work on backend solutions, customer integrations, and technical challenges across a fast-moving environment.
What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain backend features using PHP.
Work with our in-house PHP framework, built using modern Symfony libraries.
Develop and maintain APIs and integrations.
Troubleshoot complex technical and integration issues.
Work with AWS and MySQL as part of the backend stack.
Use AI tools as part of your day-to-day engineering workflow.
Collaborate with the wider engineering team to deliver reliable solutions.
What We’re Looking For
Strong professional experience in PHP backend development.
Experience with Symfony or modern Symfony libraries.
Good knowledge of MySQL.
Experience working with AWS.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good communication skills.
Open to learning new skills and taking on new challenges.
Comfortable using AI tools in everyday software development.
Nice to Have
Experience with Rust.
Experience with Python.
A strong interest in learning Rust or Python — both are actively used across parts of the project.
