You will play a key role in developing and enhancing our platform, designed to be reliable, scalable, and a foundation for enabling other product lines. This involves tackling complex challenges, including building critical applications capable of handling large datasets and high volumes of data efficiently.
What you bring to the table:
- Deep backend expertise with event-driven and microservices architectures, plus strong grasp of scalable, resilient system design.
- Proven, hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, building and operating robust production services.
- Solid knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and OOP, with pragmatic trade-off thinking.
- End-to-end ownership of services—architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, observability/monitoring, and support.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as React or Angular is an advantage.
- Strong interest in AI-driven development, with experience using or evaluating AI-assisted coding, testing, or productivity tools — an advantage.
- Experience with any cloud provider ( AWS is an advantage); containers/CI/CD/IaC familiarity is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, influence peers, and share knowledge.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and own the full development lifecycle of critical platform services—from architecture and coding to testing, deployment, and production monitoring/incident response.
- Champion technical excellence—coding standards, system design, security, observability and cost awareness—and drive AI integration into engineering practices where it adds value.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, tech leads, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful, end-to-end solutions.
- Proactively contribute to team and company initiatives, document decisions, share knowledge, and drive ownership beyond core responsibilities.

- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experienced in maintenance and monitoring of a microservice environment
- Experienced in Ruby on Rails is an advantage
