About Yotpo Discover
Yotpo Discover helps e-commerce brands understand and improve how they appear across AI-driven discovery experiences, including search, AI answers, and shopping assistants. As discovery expands beyond traditional search, Discover gives SEO/AEO and e-commerce teams clear visibility into performance, gaps, and opportunities.
We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to partner with the Yotpo Discover sales and product teams and support mid-market and enterprise sales cycles. This role focuses on pre-sales support, technical expertise, and solution positioning, with a strong emphasis on SEO and emerging AEO workflows in e-commerce.
You will work closely with Account Executives to help prospects understand how Discover fits into their existing SEO stack and decision-making process.
What You Will Do
Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle as the SEO and technical subject-matter expert
Participate in discovery calls, product demos, and follow-up conversations with prospects
Run hands-on SEO and AEO audits using Yotpo Discover and complementary tools
Explain SEO, AEO, and AI-driven discovery concepts clearly to e-commerce stakeholders
Help prospects understand how Discover integrates into their current workflows and teams
Support pilots, trials, and beta programs from a technical and analytical perspective
Address technical, methodological, and SEO-related questions during the sales process
Represent Yotpo Discover at conferences and industry events as a technical expert
Who You Are
Senior individual contributor with strong SEO expertise
Hands-on background in SEO, ideally from an agency environment
Comfortable running audits, analyzing data, and presenting findings to customers
Experience working with e-commerce brands and their SEO challenges
Confident supporting sales conversations without owning quota or deal strategy
Interested in how AI and LLMs are changing search and discovery
Experience We Are Looking For
Strong preference for experience in SEO agencies, especially those working with e-commerce brands
Experience across technical SEO, content SEO, and site architecture
Familiarity with mid-market and enterprise customer environments
Prior experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or SEO Lead supporting sales is a plus
This role is NYC based, with occasional travel for conferences and customer meetings.
Total Compensation based on experience $ 200,000β$230,000 OTE
This is an upcapped role, with additional accelerators
Compensation ranges are determined by multiple factors unique to each candidate, including skills and local market benchmarks.
