We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Carrier Sales Representative to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will manage the full shipment lifecycle-from quoting customers and securing freight opportunities to carrier management, shipment tracking, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
Quote customers using DAT and Truckstop pricing and market intelligence tools.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow freight volume.
Win freight opportunities by providing competitive pricing and outstanding customer service.
Manage the complete shipment lifecycle from booking through delivery.
Source and secure qualified carriers to successfully cover customer freight.
Vet and onboard carriers using Highway to ensure compliance and carrier quality.
Track active shipments, proactively communicate updates, and resolve service issues as they arise.
Coordinate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
Maintain accurate shipment information within Alvys TMS (training provided if needed).
Provide exceptional customer support by proactively addressing shipment delays, exceptions, and operational challenges.
Negotiate rates with carriers while maintaining healthy shipment margins.
Ensure all shipment documentation is complete and accurately maintained.
Meet individual productivity, service quality, and operational performance goals.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who has:
Previous experience in US freight brokerage, logistics, dispatch, carrier sales, freight operations, or customer operations.
Strong understanding of truckload transportation and freight brokerage processes.
Experience quoting freight using DAT and/or Truckstop is highly preferred.
Experience working with transportation management systems (experience with Alvys is a plus, but training will be provided).
Experience working with Highway or similar carrier compliance platforms is considered an advantage.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Outstanding customer service mindset.
Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
Working Conditions
Working schedule: Mon-Fri 08:00 am - 07:00 pm EST
