We are now looking for an Account Executive to focus on converting Marketing Qualified Leads into paying customers within the assigned markets and/or territories across the entire Chaos portfolio of products and services. The Account Executive is responsible for achieving sales and conversion targets, positively representing the company by providing information about products or services, answering questions, resolving issues, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound customer sales inquiries (chat, email, leads): answers pricing and licensing questions, extends evaluation licenses, and responds to other sales inquiries.

  • Sources new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up.

  • Maintain a high volume of leads daily, offering and assisting them as they navigate the Consideration and Decision stages of the buyer’s journey, staying focused on closing business.

  • Maintains a high level of customer service at all times by listening to customers’ needs and educating them about product features and benefits.

  • Conferences with other members of the sales team to ensure that customers’ needs are being met.

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure the quality of the pipeline and success of campaigns, providing feedback and recommendations on marketing efforts from real-world interactions with prospects and customers.

  • Maintains knowledge of current industry trends to identify new business opportunities and respond to competitor activity.

  • Practices effective time management to maximize sales time, including pre-call planning and customizing scripts to market segments and prospect types.

  • Meets (virtually or in person - during events/tradeshows) with prospective clients to determine their needs and assess whether they are a good fit for the company’s products or services.

  • Upsells/cross-sells company products where suitable.

  • Prepares proposals for new clients based on their needs and budget constraints.

  • Communicates with customers through different channels to help them make purchases, make decisions, and understand Chaos’ products, licensing models, and value proposition.

  • Maintains a clear track record within the company’s CRM system.

  • Monitors sales results based on KPIs; prepares reports and analyses for sales management.

  • Consolidates local market information for the industry, economics, politics, and potential risks, associated with Chaos’ channel business within the assigned territories.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English.

  • Must have one additional foreign language - ideally German, or alternatively French, Spanish, or Italian.

  • 2-5 years of direct work experience in sales.

  • Proficient in general software licensing and sales practices, experience with different software licensing models and sales approaches.

  • Familiar with the AEC/M&E industries.

  • Negotiation skills.

  • Great problem-solver.

  • Autonomous in prioritizing day-to-day tasks.

  • Effective communication over email (and phone).

  • University or high school degree.

  • Experience in sales for a company in the IT sector will be considered an advantage.

Key technical skills:

  • Experience with customer relationship management software.

  • Familiar with GSuite.

  • Experience using Salesforce is a plus.

  • Ability to research leads via LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google.

  • Familiarity with some of the major CAD/3D design software programs is not mandatory, but will be considered an advantage.
