As an Accounting Officer at LegalMatch, you will play a vital role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing data-driven insights. Your responsibilities include auditing, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and optimizing workflows. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis is crucial.
Your responsibilities include:
Conducting internal audits and asset checks to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards (PEZA, BIR, SEC, BOI).
Maintaining general ledger, reconcile bank statements, and record journal entries.
Overseeing cost optimization for IT subscriptions.
Preparing financial statements, budget vs. actual variance analyses, and ad-hoc reports.
Performing data analysis to identify financial trends and support strategic decisions.
Reviewing and reconcile quarterly VAT returns and process VAT refund claims.
Assisting in year-end audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
Drafting and implementing policies to streamline financial workflows and improve efficiency.
Using QuickBooks Online and Excel for financial tracking, reporting, and data visualization.
Collaborating on payroll processing and other financial tasks as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or compliance.
At least 4 years of experience in regulatory reporting (PEZA, BIR, SEC, BOI).
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas), and payroll systems.
Experience in financial analysis and reporting.
