Our client is a leading name in Australia’s build-to-rent sector, with a strong focus on premium residential living and lifestyle services.
They are now hiring for an Accounts Administrator who will be responsible for supporting accounts receivable, accounts payable, and trust accounting functions within the finance team.
Job Responsibilities:
Raise periodic rent roll charges and ad-hoc tenant charges, including onboarding charges for new residents.
Process monthly direct debits and ensure accurate receipting of payments.
Prepare and maintain arrears reports, ensuring all data is recorded accurately and on time.
Collaborate with the property and leasing teams to investigate and resolve resident account queries.
Perform vendor onboarding and manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice uploads and payment runs.
Ensure accuracy in all data entries related to charges, receipting, and payments.
Provide ad-hoc finance support as required by the Portfolio Accountant or broader finance team.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance or accounts administration role.
Prior experience in the property or real estate industry is highly regarded.
Working knowledge of trust accounting principles is advantageous.
Proficiency in financial systems and accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
