About Us

At New Era Technology, we design, implement, and support transformative technology solutions that make businesses more agile, secure, and connected. We are now hiring an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Solution Architect to join our growing digital experience team.

Role Overview

As an AEM Solution Architect, you will lead the technical vision and architecture of AEM-based solutions across enterprise clients. You will act as a strategic technology advisor, responsible for architecting robust, scalable, and secure digital experience platforms using Adobe Experience Managerโ€”leveraging both traditional and headless CMS capabilities. This is a high-impact, hands-on role suited for forward-thinking professionals who thrive in a client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Design scalable, secure AEM solutions using Sites, Assets, Headless CMS, and SPA Editor.

  • Serve as the CMS technology SME; guide clients in leveraging AEM capabilities effectively.

  • Architect seamless integrations with CRM, DAM, analytics, and marketing tools.

  • Evaluate other CMS platforms and advise on platform selection when appropriate.

Technology Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional development teams and enforce best practices.

  • Guide technology decisions across frontend and backend stacks.

  • Participate in complex development/integration tasks and PoCs.

  • Contribute to reusable frameworks and technical accelerators.

Client Engagement & Innovation

  • Act as the technical advisor and point of contact for CMS solutions.

  • Provide proactive solution recommendations to clients.

  • Stay abreast of AEM and CMS industry trends and innovations.

Integration & Performance

  • Architect integrations via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and messaging frameworks.

  • Optimize performance through Dispatcher tuning, caching, and CDN strategies.

  • Ensure data consistency, security, and efficient data flow across systems.

Governance, Security & Compliance

  • Uphold coding standards, architectural governance, and security protocols.

Team Enablement & Collaboration

  • Mentor team members across backend, frontend, and DevOps functions.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders including developers, analysts, and product owners.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, quality, and shared success.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise architecture and development, primarily on AEM.

  • Expertise in AEM Sites, Assets, SPA Editor, and Headless CMS models.

  • Strong knowledge of Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL, JCR, Dispatcher, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Proficient in frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.

  • Hands-on experience integrating with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and cloud services.

  • Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB; knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Adobe Cloud Manager.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and delivery.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to Adobe Experience Cloud tools (e.g., Workfront, Target, Analytics).

  • Experience with Adobe I/O, GraphQL, and personalization strategies.

  • Knowledge of other CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Drupal, or Contentful.

Soft Skills

  • Proactive and client-focused approach.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Leadership presence with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Education

  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Why Join Us?

  • Work with global clients on cutting-edge AEM implementations.

  • Flexible remote setup with a strong technology-driven culture.

  • Be part of a team that values thought leadership, innovation, and excellence.
