Position: Associate Director, Development
Location: Remote (based in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metro Area)

A national nonprofit organization is seeking an Associate Director of Development to lead regional fundraising efforts across Dallas and Fort Worth. This role is responsible for generating over $500,000 annually through peer-to-peer fundraising events, corporate engagement, and donor stewardship. The Associate Director will help execute statewide development strategies and foster strong community and partner relationships.
Responsibilities
Execute community engagement and fundraising strategies through peer-to-peer events and campaigns.
Manage all aspects of fundraising portfolio, including revenue strategy, budget management, and event logistics.
Recruit, coach, and support volunteer committees and fundraising participants.
Cultivate and steward donor relationships to support mid-level and major giving pipelines.
Support Development Managers and collaborate across departments to meet fundraising goals.
Manage corporate partnership initiatives including prospecting, proposals, and stewardship.
Maintain a portfolio of regional donors with annual engagement and solicitation plans.
Lead committee recruitment and community partner engagement efforts.
Analyze event data to assess performance and optimize results.
Coordinate with marketing teams to promote community fundraising events.
Track event and donor activity in fundraising platforms such as Convio, Team Raiser, Salesforce, and Greater Giving.
Apply moves management principles to donor relationships.
Support planned giving and major gift cultivation in collaboration with internal teams.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Bachelorβs degree required.
3β5 years of relevant experience in fundraising and event production.
Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue goals.
Experience using donor CRMs and fundraising platforms.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; design software experience is a plus.
Willingness to travel up to 50% and work occasional nights/weekends.
Ability to lift and carry materials up to 30 lbs.
Annual salary range: $60,770 β $70,385
