Join a trusted tax preparation and business services provider dedicated to empowering individuals and businesses through expert financial guidance. We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused QuickBooks Expert to join as Bookkeeper.

The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable to client needs and able to provide exceptional bookkeeping support using QuickBooks. This role requires strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. What You’ll Do

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand and adapt to their specific requirements.
  • Prepare financial reports and reconcile accounts as needed.
  • Offer guidance on bookkeeping best practices.
  • Ensure a responsive and flexible client service experience.
  • Set up and configure QuickBooks accounts according to the client’s business needs.
  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, transaction categorization, and record maintenance.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly.
  • Generate accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Provide end-of-month and end-of-year closing support.
  • Advise clients on QuickBooks features and functionality to improve their financial processes.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and data security at all times.

What You Need

  • Proven experience (2+ years) working with QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop versions.
  • QuickBooks certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-financial professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach to identifying issues.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop versions.
  • Experience with bank feeds, custom reports, and advanced QuickBooks features.
  • Familiarity with other accounting software is a plus.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of digital file management and secure document sharing practices.
  • Exceptional client service orientation.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Adaptability to different client needs and accounting systems.
  • Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Patience and clear communication when explaining processes or resolving issues.

  • This is a full-time, long-term position.
  • The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement.
  • Work from home.
  • Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (+/- 1 hour accepted) - PST.
