Global Marketing & Sales | Change Communications Lead
Are you a strategic communicator who thrives on making change meaningful? If so, Hitachi invites you to step into a pivotal role as Change Communications Lead within its Global Marketing and Sales (GM&S) team, a high-profile initiative at the very heart of the Hitachi Group.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be at the forefront of a mission to unite Hitachi’s global & regional commercial teams under a single, powerful vision of ‘One Hitachi’. Working at group level, you’ll help visualise market opportunities, articulate the group’s value proposition, and empower teams to go to market with confidence and cohesion.
You’ll be the voice behind the change, with the ability to articulate your strategy at the highest levels, ensuring stakeholders are informed, engaged, and inspired to act.
About GM&S
Hitachi is transforming to ensure sustainable growth and profitability in digital and green sectors by establishing a customer-centric business model. Part of this transformation is setting up global account management to better understand customer needs and increase Hitachi’s market share.
This transformation is led by GM&S, whose vision is to become our customers’ preferred partner of choice for their most critical challenges by providing impactful, sustainable solutions, delivered by experts spanning the full breadth of Hitachi’s portfolio.
The role
- Design and implement a tiered stakeholder engagement strategy to support GM&S’ mid-term management plan program delivery
- Collaborate with senior leadership to coordinate and execute program milestonesActivate program ambassadors across regions and business units
- Conduct regular stakeholder ‘temperature checks’ and share insights with leadership
- Define and monitor program KPIs, delivering clear, actionable reporting
- Lead a structured cadence of program reviews, adjustments, and continuous improvement
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years’ experience in a global business environment
- Deep expertise in strategic change management, stakeholder engagement, and internal communications
- The ability to influence and drive change at the highest levels of leadership
- A proactive mindset—anticipating challenges, setting priorities, and delivering results
- Strong program management and strategic communications skills
- Cultural sensitivity and a collaborative approach to working across international teams
