Job Description
You’ll define and drive client strategy, identify goals and challenges, and manage the sales process to create new opportunities. Working closely with a Retail-focused team — including a Market Development Partner, Direct Sales Lead, and Retail Sector Lead — you’ll help shape project direction, respond to market needs, and align our solutions with client expectations.
As a Client Partner Lead for the Financial Services & Insurance segment, you will own the strategy, revenue goals, and client relationships across your portfolio. You’ll build and maintain long-term partnerships, ensure client satisfaction, and drive account growth. In this role, you’ll guide a team of Client Partners, supporting them in developing account strategies, sharing industry insights, and meeting performance goals in line with Accesa’s 5-star customer experience standards.
Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Delivery, Presales, Legal, and Finance, you’ll help shape the strategic direction of our initiatives in the Financial Services & Insurance space.
Responsibilities:
1. Industry Strategy and Market Leadership
- Define and drive the Financial Services & Insurance (FSI) industry strategy, aligning with market trends, regulations, and technologies.
- Act as a thought leader, representing Accesa in external forums and shaping industry positioning.
2. Client Relationship Management and Growth
- Own strategic client relationships, ensuring proactive communication, issue resolution, and strategic alignment.
- Develop and maintain client plans that focus on long-term growth, cross-sell/upsell opportunities, and pipeline management
3. Sales Enablement and Commercial Oversight
- Oversee sales and proposal development, ensuring offers are aligned with client needs, profitability targets, and compliance.
- Partner with Delivery to manage project scope, pricing, and overall account profitability.
4. People Leadership and Talent Development
- Lead and coach a team of Client Partners, building capabilities in strategic account management and consultative selling.
- Drive performance through clear goals, feedback cycles, and professional development.
5. Operational Excellence and Governance
- Manage budgets, ensure accurate CRM reporting, and foster a data-driven approach to decision-making and forecasting.
- Implement continuous improvement based on client feedback and internal evaluations
6. Client Satisfaction and Strategic Stakeholder Engagement
- Monitor and improve client satisfaction metrics, facilitating executive-level reviews and governance sessions.
- Support delivery handovers and turn satisfied clients into advocates through references and co-marketing.
Qualifications
- Deep Industry Knowledge: Proven expertise in the IT sector, specifically in Financial Services and/or Insurance, keeping up with market evolution, regulatory changes, and sector best practices.
- Strategic Thinking & Planning: Capable of translating market data, client feedback, and emerging tech trends into a clear strategy for the industry segment.
- Proven Client Relationship Management: Track record in building trust-based relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring high client satisfaction.
- People Leadership: Experience leading, mentoring, and coaching teams, with a focus on consultative sales, account management, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills: Adept at influencing senior stakeholders (both internal and client-side), creating concise presentations, and delivering persuasive proposals.
- Project Delivery Awareness: Familiar with delivery lifecycles, from requirements analysis to go-live, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Stakeholder Management: Effective in navigating large, complex organizations, prioritizing multiple stakeholders, and resolving escalations proactively.
- Language Skills: Proficient in German and English (written and spoken) is strongly preferred for engaging with diverse client portfolios.
