Job description
HubSpot is hiring an experienced director of partnerships to lead our partner management team for our tech ecosystem of over 1,500+ App Partners. These partners range from “ecosystem entrepreneurs” who have built products specifically for the HubSpot platform to category-leading SaaS products such as 6Sense, Amplitude, Calendly, Gong, StackAdapt, and Twilio Segment. Our App Partner team is responsible for both acquiring new partners and helping existing ones grow and thrive in our ecosystem. We work with those partners on both product and go-to-market opportunities.
It is an inspiring time for a leader to step into this role. We’re significantly expanding our product extensibility for partners to build deeper and richer integrations, unlocking many new use cases and many more adjacent product categories and verticals. There are new, exciting opportunities for partners to integrate into our AI platform (and us in theirs). We’re enabling a wide range of new go-to-market options for partners, from programmatic marketing and sales capabilities in our marketplace to rep-centric plays for co-sell/co-service and field events — as well as deeper collaborations between App Partners and our channel of 7,000+ Solutions Partners, who are often the linchpins in bringing together these products for a total customer solution. And as HubSpot continues to move upmarket, the potential for customers with increasingly diverse needs to tap more integrations and extensions from our partners grows tremendously.
As the director of our App Partner management team, you will play a key role in shaping our partner strategy and executing it with a team of global partner managers. You will work closely with our director of partner programs and operations and collaborate with many other leaders across the company’s product and go-to-market teams as part of our Director+ leadership community. You will report to our VP of Platform Ecosystem. In this role, you will:
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to acquire new partners in our ecosystem
- Drive successful product and revenue outcomes for partners and HubSpot
- Manage and coach a team of global partner managers to achieve those goals
- Creatively develop new strategies for growth across our partner ecosystem
- Passionately champion partners — inside HubSpot and in the market at large
- Lead your partners and your team through times of change and disruption
We are looking for someone who has significant experience in partner management in a scaled ecosystem — managing 100’s to 1,000’s of ISVs. You’ll be expected to balance a structured and systematic approach to the ecosystem as a whole with the agility to adapt best fit opportunities for individual partners. We’re still early in our journey of what’s possible with our ecosystem, so you need to be adept and excited about breaking new ground and climbing some tough hills. You must genuinely love partnerships and the possibilities they unlock. And, of course, you must be savvy about using AI to boost the efficiency and impact of your team.
HubSpot today is a $2.6+ billion revenue company with 248,000 customers worldwide and 1.5+ million weekly active users (WAU) on our CRM platform. It’s already a terrific ecosystem for our partners, which IDC estimates as $30 billion of opportunity. But you can help take our partner ecosystem — and its impact on HubSpot — to an entirely different level. Let’s make this the best partner platform in the history of B2B.
