The ERP Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring users know how to take advantage of the Epicor and connected Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) supporting tools.  The ideal candidate will possess the ability to perform and teach users best practices for existing and new functionality for the ERP platform as it is developed.

The ERP Operations Specialist must be able to independently function within an agile environment, assist in supporting the  ERP solution strategy, while providing corporate-level support.  This role will require a person capable of a deep understanding of the complete ERP platform and how it is used by different users across the organization.  This role should play an integral role in the awareness and function of all interfacing tools with the ERP system, while providing subject matter expertise to ensure they are properly used in a value-adding and highly efficient manner.  This role will involve the creation and maintenance of a variety of documentation and knowledge bases around the complete ERP platform while also supporting end-user training and change management assistance.

The position is a remote one, only available where we have employees located at this time.  When necessary, there may be some travel involved to visit other TerrAscend locations.

Environmental Factors:

  • This position requires working in an environment that has a high amount of plant matter and pollen. Areas of the facility reach high/low temperatures with high humidity levels. Employees may have exposure to conditions such as dust, plant matter, and particles that affect the respiratory system, eyes, or skin, depending on department job assignments.  Employees are required to wear protective gear and have the option to wear eye and ear protection. Certain areas of the facility use harsh chemicals for cleaning such as bleach and can have repetitive movements. Employees should be comfortable and capable of working under all of the above conditions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to push, pull, lift, or move a minimum of 50lbs
  • Capable of sitting, standing kneeling, bending, squatting, and/or walking for extended periods of time
  • Capable of using hands and fingers to touch, handle, feel and pick
  • Ability to work with hazardous chemicals (butane, propane, etc.) following strict safety guidelines
  • Utilize chemicals (such as bleach) to clean and maintain facility/equipment
  • Must wear PPE (clothing protection), close-toed non-slip shoes, and optional ear/eye protection

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates and coordinates with users via phone, email, and chat systems
  • Assists with collaborations  across departments to translate business needs with stakeholders and users to understand system issues or assist with new feature requests
  • Administration and  access control of user roles and permissions for ERP services and tools
  • Suggest changes that the ERP steering committee can review and make decisions upon for development projects.
  • Produce articulate and proficient written documentation, including status reports, correspondence, presentations, illustrations, and reference materials
  • Organizing, enhancing, and writing Standard Operating Procedures. This role provides process documentation for Epicor and interconnected systems that comprise the holistic ERP platform
  • Provide Tier-1 user assistance support, including user accounts and assistance with functionality, troubleshooting
  • Monitor existing usage, identify common trends and analytics to sr. management, and use cases to identify enhancements and improvements, and collaborate with ERP leadership and IT resources to enact these changes
  • Develop, customize, and maintain Epicor Business Activity Query (BAQ) Reports
  • Heavily involved with supporting merger and acquisition logistics and activities within the ERP platforms, for major business events.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, best practices, and industry regulations
  • Provide detailed change management awareness/notifications and designs training programs and materials, including enhancements and other changes,  for end users
  • Provide integral development support by testing new functionality to ensure it meets expectations for the definition of done
  • Provide troubleshooting, including root cause analysis investigations and remediation planning

Requirements:

  • ·         Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • ·         At least 4+ years of experience supporting Epicor software
  • ·         Ability to communicate complex concepts with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • ·         Ability to be self-motivated and create goals based on data and user experiences
  • ·         Awareness of the Agile development method
  • ·         Awareness of SOX compliance and direct actions to ensure the ERP platform remains compliant
  • ·         Proven ability to train users and participate in change management best practices

$69,000 - $82,000 a year
