This time, we’re looking for a Full-stack Developer with .NET and Angular expertise to join an exciting new challenge: rebuilding and modernizing a major European car rental brand’s entire digital experience. You’ll be helping replace a legacy system built on PHP - so while PHP expertise isn’t a must, familiarity with it would be a huge advantage in understanding the existing architecture and ensuring a smooth migration. If you enjoy architecting clean, scalable systems, collaborating with designers and product folks, and want to have a visible impact on a high-traffic platform, this one’s for you!
What you will be doing:
- Leading the full-stack development of new features, components, and modules for a newly redesigned web platform
- Working closely with UI/UX, SEO, and analytics experts to build a performant and user-centric experience
- Contributing to architectural discussions and participating in code reviews and development best practices
- Helping modernize a brownfield system built in PHP with maintainable, scalable solutions
- Mentoring junior team members as the project and team grow
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development using .NET Core (6/7/8) and Angular (15+)
- Solid knowledge of C#, Entity Framework Core, and modern TypeScript
- Proven track record building SPAs with Angular 15+ and integrating RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with secure authentication, external API integrations, and cross-platform development practices
- Practical experience with Azure services like App Service, SQL MI, Key Vault, and Blob Storage
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams (designers, SEO, analytics, product owners)
- A proactive mindset and commitment to writing clean, high-performance, and scalable code
- Confidence in working with existing/legacy codebases - especially those built with PHP - and motivation to refactor and modernize them
- Experience introducing modern dev tools such as CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and monitoring solutions
- Fluency in Hungarian and a strong command of English are essential — you’ll be working with both local and international team members and clients.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience working with legacy PHP systems or involved in PHP-to-.NET migrations
- Familiarity with car rental, travel, or e-commerce domains
