Our client is an Australian solutions company that supports thousands of distributors.
They are now looking to hire a Settlements Officer to support their finance team in processing settlements, ensuring accuracy in financial agreements, and coordinating with lenders.
Job Responsibilities:
Process and finalise finance settlements efficiently and accurately.
Liaise with lenders, clients, and internal teams to ensure a smooth settlement process.
Manage and track settlement transactions through COG β Settlement Portal.
Review and verify financial agreements and contracts for accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with clients to retrieve required documentation for finance processing.
Conduct background checks and ensure all settlement conditions are met.
Maintain and update financial records, reports, and Excel spreadsheets.
Handle customer inquiries, providing professional and timely support.
Work closely with sales teams, understanding the role’s connection to the sales process.
Assist in process improvements and proactively manage settlement pipeline
6 months β 2 years of settlement experience in finance, banking, or a related field.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Experience dealing with lenders is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Excel for data management and reporting.
Excellent verbal communication skills, with clear pronunciation and good pacing.
Customer service experience with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple transactions efficiently.
Familiarity with financial agreements, contracts, and loan calculators.
Willingness to work an additional day on the weekend if the last day of the month falls on a weekend.
Must have a stable internet connection
