Honestly, we think your typical JD is deceptively unhelpful for high-growth startups. This role is a generalist role - it’s replacing several previous job postings we had, including “Strategy and Operations”, “Vertical Operator”, “All Around Athlete - Operations”, “Customer Operations Team Leader”, “Operations Associate”, and more. This role is to join our team of entrepreneurial problem solvers across levels that get excited about making the lives of customers better and building businesses. The role we’re advertising isn’t specific because we don’t know what exactly you’ll do. We’ll make a few promises to you about the role though - it’ll be high impact, fast paced work that has an impact on our customers and on our business.

In terms of “what might I actually do” - here’s a list of potential roles:

  1. Troubleshoot pricing across existing markets, designing and implementing a new algorithm in those markets
  2. Launch new markets
  3. Manage a team of Collections Account Managers
  4. Build a new LLM based chatbot to triage customer support inquiries
  5. Redesign our process for reaching out to workers about opportunities in new lines of business

Please Note: We are currently accepting applications only from candidates based in North America, South America or Europe. This role requires an overlap of 5 hours with the PST (UTC-8) time zone.

We are hiring multiple people and are hiring indefinitely for this role. We won’t close the funnel prematurely based on other candidates. We will hire everyone that meets our threshold of excellence, and hope you (and about a dozen others) meet our criteria.

We do not require any experience for this role. Experience will be taken into consideration for both 1) the role you’re placed into once hired, and 2) compensation. In addition to experience, these two items are determined by performance during the interview process.

Salary range for this role spans from $60k-250k given the wide range of roles and experience.
