Job description
About Juniper Square
Our mission is to unlock the full potential of private markets. Privately owned assets like commercial real estate, private equity, and venture capital make up half of our financial ecosystem yet remain inaccessible to most people. We are digitizing these markets, and as a result, bringing efficiency, transparency, and access to one of the most productive corners of our financial ecosystem. If you care about making the world a better place by making markets work better through technology – all while contributing as a member of a values-driven organization – we want to hear from you.
Juniper Square offers employees a variety of ways to work, ranging from a fully remote experience to working full-time in one of our physical offices. We invest heavily in digital-first operations, allowing our teams to collaborate effectively across 27 U.S. states, 2 Canadian Provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England. We also have a physical office in San Francisco, New York City, and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.
About the role
We’re looking for a collaborative and strategic Growth Strategy Director to join our GPX team. This role focuses on transforming product strategy into measurable business outcomes. Reporting directly to the General Manager of our Software (GPX) business, you’ll work closely across teams to ensure we stay aligned on priorities and make meaningful progress toward our goals.
Our business has more than doubled the size of our engineering team in the last two years, and we’re launching more new products and capabilities than ever. We’ve just released our first AI-powered features, with more on the horizon. As we expand, we need to equip our go-to-market teams to price, communicate, and deliver value with these new offerings. In this role, you’ll connect product and customer-facing teams, gathering market insights to shape direction and ensuring product investments deliver the expected impact.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys navigating complexity, fostering collaboration, and driving meaningful outcomes. Whether you’re coming from consulting, a strategy role, investing, or an MBA program, if you’re motivated to make a tangible impact - let’s connect.
What you’ll do
Partner with the General Manager and other senior team members to advance key initiatives from concept to execution.
Translate strategic goals into clear plans, timelines, and outcomes.
Align product, go-to-market, operations, and finance teams around shared objectives.
Engage regularly with prospects, customers, and partners to deepen understanding of market needs.
Stay informed on emerging AI tools and trends, identifying opportunities to integrate them into workflows to enhance innovation, efficiency, and thoughtful planning.
Spot obstacles early and work collaboratively to remove them with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
Support team guidance by clearly framing key points and providing well-considered recommendations.
Develop simple processes and tools to keep initiatives progressing smoothly without unnecessary complexity.
Track progress on strategic initiatives and proactively identify potential risks.
Communicate updates and insights clearly and effectively across the organization.
Serve as a partner in critical thinking - ask thoughtful questions, encourage different viewpoints, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
5–8 years of experience in consulting, high-growth tech, strategy, or related fields.
Strategic thinker with strong follow-through - you can see the big picture while managing details.
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
Comfortable working through ambiguity and skilled at creating clarity.
Strong problem-solving abilities - you’re confident working with data and can support your ideas with evidence.
Proven experience in seeing projects through from start to finish.
Interest in and enthusiasm for AI.
Collaborative, approachable, and team-oriented - people value your perspective and enjoy working with you.
Familiarity with software/SaaS business models is a plus, but not required.
MBA or equivalent experience is helpful, but we care most about the contributions you’ve made.
