Summary
We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support the execution of social media, content, video production, and earned media initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience across a range of modern marketing functions while contributing to high-impact brand and campaign visibility efforts. The role is remote but operates on Eastern Time Zone hours.
Essential Job Functions:
- Coordinate and schedule posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, and X (Twitter), ensuring consistency with brand voice and campaign timing for four brands
- Collaborate with internal teams to source content and support social media initiatives around campaigns, events, and thought leadership
- Monitor engagement and provide insights on performance to guide optimization
- Support coordination of video shoots and edits (working with contractors, designers, or tools) for testimonials, product explainers, and social clips
- Assist with drafting briefs, prepping scripts, and organizing assets for marketing videos
- Help ensure consistent brand standards across visual content
- Support PR and earned media initiatives by identifying media opportunities, tracking outreach, and assisting in the development of contributed content
- Maintain and update press and media lists
- Help coordinate speaker submissions for conferences or industry panels
- Partner with the Marketing Operations Associate to assist in executing campaign workflows and follow-ups
- Help QA and publish marketing content across channels (email, social, blog, etc.)
- Assist with internal documentation and project management across marketing activities
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing or creating content for social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A creative eye for visual content and an interest in storytelling through video and design
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work remotely on Eastern Time Zone hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with basic graphic tools (Canva, Figma, or Adobe Suite)
- Exposure to project management tools (Asana, Trello, etc.)
- Experience supporting or coordinating with PR, video production, or digital marketing team
