Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Network Team Lead to drive the strategic development of our network infrastructure and lead a skilled, motivated team. Together, you’ll ensure the stability, performance, and security of our critical network services — in our data centers, in the cloud, and remotely for our customers.
- Leading and supporting the Network & Security team — both technically and personally.
- Ensuring reliable operation of network infrastructure across data centers, cloud, and customer environments.
- Ownership of key network services such as Managed WAN, MPLS, Cloudflare DDoS Protection, NetScaler WAF, IPSEC VPN, and Client-to-Site VPN.
- Co-owning and further developing our data center environment with Cisco ACI, CheckPoint VSX, Juniper SRX, and Arista switches & routers.
- Handling technical escalations and driving improvements with a focus on security, stability, and performance.
- Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships to guarantee fast, reliable support.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in the IT industry.
- 5+ years specializing in at least one of these areas:
- Service Provider Networks
- Data Center Networking
- Security
- Campus LAN / Wireless
- Routing & Switching
- Proven leadership experience (e.g. as Team Lead or Project Manager).
- Strong communication & conflict resolution skills.
- Solid understanding of Service Provider infrastructure.
- Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in English and German (spoken & written).
