Since 2019, OKTO has been improving payment interactions for online and retail gaming, leveraging local market knowledge and international capabilities. We now serve customers across Brazil, Romania, Italy, Greece, Germany, the UK, and Spain, and employ over 200 payment experts, software engineers, and fintech professionals.

Summary

We are looking for a Product Owner based in Argentina to lead the definition and execution of key product initiatives, especially in the payments and fintech domains. You will work in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating with both local and international stakeholders. This is a remote role with direct reporting to our Product Leadership team (HQ in Europe), where English will be the primary working language.

The ideal candidate has a strong product mindset, experience delivering impactful solutions, and a deep understanding of the LATAM fintech/payments landscape.

Responsibilities

Define and own the product roadmap, aligning it with company goals and priorities.

Gather and analyze business requirements, transforming them into clear, actionable user stories with defined acceptance criteria.

Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical complexity, and customer impact.

Facilitate communication and alignment across tech, product, and business stakeholders.

Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery.

Perform acceptance testing and validation of new features before release.

Monitor and analyze product performance using tools such as Power BI or similar; iterate based on data and user feedback.

Contribute to post-launch processes, including documentation, knowledge sharing, and product training.

Experience

3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product execution role.

Domain knowledge in fintech, payments, or consumer platforms, ideally within the LATAM region.

Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Demonstrated ability to manage product delivery in cross-functional, remote teams.

Strong knowledge of product discovery, backlog management, and stakeholder alignment.

Technical & Professional

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Professional fluency in English (spoken and written) is required, as daily collaboration with international teams is essential.

Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, and Monday.com.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management capabilities.
