Job description

MongoDB’s mission is to empower innovators to create, transform, and disrupt industries by unleashing the power of software and data. We enable organizations of all sizes to easily build, scale, and run modern applications by helping them modernize legacy workloads, embrace innovation, and unleash AI. Our industry-leading developer data platform, MongoDB Atlas, is the only globally distributed, multi-cloud database and is available in more than 115 regions across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Atlas allows customers to build anywhere—on the edge, on premises, or across cloud providers. With offices worldwide and over 175,000 developers joining MongoDB every month, it’s no wonder that leading organizations, like Samsung and Toyota, trust MongoDB to build next-generation, AI-powered applications.

To help fuel and manage this growth, we are looking for someone to join our Recruiting Operations team supporting Recruiting Analytics. We’re looking for someone who excels in tactical execution, managing the day-to-day operational aspects of recruitment analytics with precision and efficiency. In addition to handling these tasks, this role requires someone who can plan and execute around a strategic vision.

This role is open to Remote-US, Flexible or In-Office candidates, preference for EST and CST timezones.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze our recruiting analytics end-to-end and identify areas for improvement
  • Optimize operational efficiencies to deliver a consistent and scalable experience to all stakeholders
  • Partner with the talent acquisition team and Recruiting Operations team to maximize system capabilities and collaborate closely with People Analytics partners
  • Ensure data integrity by coordinating with business owners and resolving data gaps
  • Develop, automate and maintain recruitment dashboards and reports, while identifying opportunities for ongoing operational improvements
  • Conduct weekly audits that highlight areas for improvement and follow up with the recruitment management team on next steps to ensure the recruiters are trained to take the necessary actions
  • Capture recruitment requirements and partner with the People Analytics team to develop project plans and priorities, and achieve completion of project goals
  • Make recommendations for key recruiting metrics to measure productivity and identify areas for improvement
  • Leverage recruiting metrics to define KPIs and success metrics in order to track the effectiveness of the recruiting process and inform strategic decisions
  • Identify and troubleshoot opportunities for ongoing operational improvements across recruitment reports/dashboards, with a focus on scale and automation
  • Offer data consulting to recruiters and recruiting leaders to help them understand how to optimize their recruiting efforts
  • Partner with vendors/teams (internal or external) where needed to help implement and advance new reporting tools or enhancements

The successful hire will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Human Resources, Business Analytics) or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting operations or data management with a focus on analytics, preferably within a talent acquisition environment
  • Data Pipeline Expertise: Proven experience in building, managing, and optimizing data pipelines. This involves collecting, processing, and analyzing data efficiently to support various recruiting operations. Familiarity with ETL processes and tools is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Key Tools: Experience with Greenhouse, SuccessFactors, and GemAI is a significant advantage. The candidate should be comfortable utilizing these platforms to streamline recruiting workflows and enhance data insights
  • Recruiting Analytics Proficiency: A strong background in recruiting analytics, capable of interpreting data to drive strategic decisions. The candidate should demonstrate a deep understanding of recruiting metrics and how they influence overall talent acquisition strategies
  • Experience in Recruiting Processes: In-depth knowledge of end-to-end recruiting processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding. The candidate should be able to identify key stages and metrics that drive successful recruitment outcomes
  • Technical and Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau or similar. The ability to leverage these tools to create dashboards and reports that inform recruiting strategies is essential
  • Effective Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance recruitment analytics and data integrity
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills with minimal supervision. Applicants should be able to proactively identify challenges and implement data-driven solutions
