Job description
Zipdev is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Revenue Manager Assistant to support revenue managers in optimizing Airbnb property pricing. This role involves analyzing data, building market dashboards, and helping manage pricing strategies to maximize income for short-term rental properties.
Tasks:
- Use Pricelabs, an algorithmic tool that adjusts pricing and minimum stay rules for Airbnb properties (training provided)
- Build market dashboards and create comp sets of similar properties based on bedroom count, amenities, and location
- Analyze reports to support pricing strategies considering high, low, and mid seasons
- Evaluate booking window data, cleaning fees, discounts, cancellation policies, and booking trends by season
- Build and manipulate custom seasonal pricing profiles in Excel or Google Sheets
- Research local events and integrate them into seasonal pricing profiles
- Interpret graphs and charts to decide when to apply specific pricing settings, including holidays and special events
- Support the team with data-informed pricing program decisions
- Show interest in AI tools and a willingness to learn and work with them
- Conduct research on various topics to help move the business forward (e.g., compiling lists of industry photographers)
- Contribute personal passions and skills to special company projects (e.g., social media, marketing, web development)
Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, interpret results, and graphs.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
Detail-oriented and accurate with data
Excellent English communication skills
Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Willingness and ability to learn new tools and systems quickly
Coachable and motivated to improve continuously
Comfortable working remotely and supporting a team in multiple time zones
Basic understanding of Airbnb or hospitality is a plus but not required
Our Recruitment Process
Video Interview
20-minute take-home skills test
30-minute Call with the Recruiter (project, benefits, etc.)
Interviews directly with the client (depending on the project the # of interviews may vary, this may include an assessment)
Final Offer
Work remotely Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends)
Vacation: 10 business days a year
Holidays: 5 National Holidays a year
Company Holidays: 5 Company Holidays a year (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Zipdev Day)
