Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
As a Sales Engineer, you will focus on developmental sales. You will work primarily in Luzon and Visayas, traveling as needed. Your role involves researching and developing new sales opportunities in these regions, including untapped markets. You will also support existing distributors in current and future market segments, providing product-focused training that includes both theory and hands-on practice.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Overall Position Purpose:
- To actively and directly be responsible for day to day sales management, and promotion of the Company products within the assigned territory to existing and futures end users and Authorized Distributors.
- To produce a consistent sales and profit growth rate tracking the goals outlined in the 5 year plan. In conjunction with the plan of Singapore office.
- To working hand in hand with the Sales Manager for developing sales opportunities in newly identified market segments, in partnership with the established distribution channels.
- To assist with development and implementation of marketing initiatives, plans and strategies that is applicable to Indonesia region and to support company sales goals and profit objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
To increase sales and build network in Philippines.
To actively increase product and brand awareness in identified countries.
Research and develop new market segments and implement a territory based sales plan to capture new businesses within identified industry categories under defined territory assignment.
To define goals to increase market penetration and profitability of all product lines.
To further develop relationships with our existing external customers and to establish favorable relationship with new key customers and industry participants.
To maintain strong working collaborative relationships with other company functions to ensure the integration of a strong marketing perspective throughout the organization.
To identify and evaluate company’s product needs and actively contribute to the successful development and commercialization of new products.
To evaluate market reactions on advertising and promotions and ensure effective coordination with global or regional product marketing strategies.
To make recommendations to improve channels of distribution, product quality and design.
To participate as necessary in key sales calls and sales support negotiations with major distributors and customers in support of company goals and objectives.
To represent the company in a professional manner and interact within the industry in tradeshows, association meetings and conferences or customer facilities.
To carry and demonstrate company’s values and vision all the time.
Minimum University Diploma in Engineering
Minimum 5 years demonstrated sales experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Belting Industries (Advantageous)
Mechanical aptitude is essential
Marketing skills is essential
Written and oral English language skills is vital – English and Tagalog
Successful time and territory planning experience is vital
High degree of computer literacy is very important
Experience with supply chain and distribution channels is an advantage
Regional business travel experience is essential
Experience in Crane machinery, digger machines used in constructions can be considered
Experience in mining industries and have an existing network in the same industry is highly preferred
Must be physically fit and in good health to perform duties in potentially hot, humid, or dusty environments and access elevated or confined areas as required for inspection or maintenance tasks.
Experience in using Salesforce – Advantageous, they can provide training to the candidate
Must have own car/vehicle

1. Achievement
- To achieve or exceed territory sales budgets across all product groups.
- To get approval and submit time and territory sales plans in accordance with the company’s quarterly and annual business cycle.
- To proactively be creative in generating more sales through recommendation in improving channels of distribution, product quality and design, etc.
Key Performance Indicators as follows:
- Actual v Sale Budget (for revenue)
- Actual v Budget on Profits and Expenses
- Customer Satisfaction Survey
- Progress on brand and product establishment - team development
- Progress on and 5-year growth initiatives
2. Customer Commitment
- To exceed customer’s expectations through customer feedback by going the extra mile.
- To conduct competent product demonstrations and installations as needed for promotions or sales purposes.
- To provide regular meet-up and to further collaborative relationship with distributors, end-users, OEM’s, Pulley Manufacturers, etc.

- To report, partner and leverage on colleagues.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30 pm Philippine time
Location: Remote but expected to be doing field work 4x per week
